Girl at the centre of a controversial ruling on aboriginal medicine tested negative for signs of cancer

She was a patient at McMaster in August, where she received about two weeks of chemo before her mother pulled her out and took her on a three-week “Lifestyle Transformation Program” at Hippocrates Health Institute, a controversial spa in Florida.

The girl, who lives on the Six Nations reserve near Brantford, was also being seen by a medical doctor on the reserve who works in tandem with a traditional healer.
