Death On Easter Long Weekend In Aroland First Nation Ontario

The OPP Greenstone and the NAPS Police Service were on scene in Aroland First Nation Ontario this Easter Long weekend to attend to reports of a dead male in the Oji-cree community located Northeast of Thunder Bay Ontario.

No official comment from the region’s police or the communities chief and council were available.

Unconfirmed rumors and reports from community members state the deceased suffered from a self inflicted gunshot wound and other unconfirmed rumors and reports from other community band members stated an Aroland First Nation male related to the deceased was taken into police custody.
